Like many other sensitive persons I also got very much disturbed on coming to know about the suicides of farmers. While visiting such families I used to feel that the children of such farmers are in search of helping hands.

Being a son of farmer and having faced all such adverse situations personally I felt it necessary to do something for those children. As a teacher by profession, I realized that only by imparting quality education such children can prove to be live at support to their families and ultimately to the society. Positive change can be brought through education. With such thoughts I decided to accept the responsibility of educating such children for their better tomorrow.

I was afraid as to whether I alone can fulfill such responsibility with limited resources at my disposal. I thought that once I start confidently society will come forward to assist and help me to complete my mission.

With no response I distributed about 2 lack handbills in many weekly bazaar and villages. Letters were posted and such families were also contacted on phone after obtaining list of farmers who have committed suicide from respective collector’s office. After personal visit to such families now about 200 children are part of our project “OUR CHILDREN” (Aapli mule) and they are residing with me in school.
