Farmers may have committed suicide due to drought indebtedness and such other reasons. But because of their death, it can not be said that such children have become orphans and there is nobody to look after them. It is our duty to educate such children by virtually adopting a child per family.
A separate trust is registered for the betterment of such children and theme is that such children are “OUR CHILDREN” (Aapli Mule). At present 200 children and some widows are residing with me at Aurangabad irrespective of their religion and caste. It is the duty of every sensitive person to be guardian of at least one child. Much help and assistance is required for proper upbringing of such children from all sections of the society.
It is our social responsibility to provide proper food and education to such children. We are required to sacrifice our today for better tomorrow of such children.
It is my sincere appeal to every individual getting active participation, assistance and monitory help for the betterment of such children. Only by educating such children properly we can bring about necessary positive change so as to reduce the suicides of farmers in future. So please donate generously.
Yours faithfully,
Shamsundar Kanke
